Hi guys!! In today's blog I´m going to talk about my study program at the university.
First I'm going to give you a little context, I'm in my first semester of university and I'm studying Architecture at the University of Chile. Which means that I haven't seen many subjects yet, but I have seen a little bit of Mathematics, Geometry, History, English and the most entertaining class, in my opinion, is “Taller”, where we have to do manual things, like plans, models. and build things, it's pretty good so far, but it takes up too much time :(
I don't know if you have ever heard that architecture carrer is one of the most difficult careers to the academic load, well it's true and I'm just starting hahaha. So far, I have had weekends where I have a lot of free time and I can do whatever I want and others where I don't have any time at all because I have to do university work, but the key is to organize well your schedule.
Well, I have to confess that the first time I went to the faculty I didn't like the buildings, but now that I have been there longer and I know them better, I can say that I like them and, just like how everything is organized. There are still things that can be improved, but they are so small that at this moment I don't remember any of them.
I have to highlight that at the university we have everything we need, they provide us many things, such as a good and comfortable study room, computers, which works very well and have good internet, library, where we have a variety of books at our disposal, printer (which is very useful), among other things, and what better than having several materials libraries nearby, where we can buy all the materials we need.
To finish, I want to mention that I am grateful to almost all of my first semester teachers, I can't complain. Even though I may not like something we are studying, the professors are very good, they are understanding, and friendly, some are funny and the best thing, which was one of the things I was afraid of entering at the university, is that they are close to the students, most of them know our names and care about us. But there are still teachers who make the majority of the class fall asleep, they could improve to make us students learn better.
Hi Cataaa, i was so happy when i saw myself in your blog hahah, as a friend and classmate yours i have almost the same opinion! I wish "taller" didn’t take up so much time:(
